COMMANDS
CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
Commands are "natural-language style" like talking to Siri or Alexa, but instead of "Get directions" or "Call so-and-so!" you tell it to Jump somewhere or Delete something with just a few simple keystrokes and mouseclicks

MiniAug commands typically pair an action Verb like "Delete", with a Noun naming the object you are acting on like "Word", while the system adds short prompts to guide you along. For most command words, you need only enter the first letter. So for example, to delete a word, you type "dw" and MiniAug fills out "Delete Word" and prompts you to select the word to be deleted, you click anywhere in the word to select it, and OK to go.
CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
All you had to do was "dw" click OK, while it fills out as you go for visual feedback.

When several command word choices start with the same letter, like Copy and Create, for the more commonly used Copy you type a "c" and for Create you type "cr".

"OK:" is prompting you to give the OK with a single mouse click "T:" means you can now Typein your input , ending with OK "M:" to select or "Mark" something by pointing with a single click "V:" to specify a View (see <8> below) "A:" to enter an Address like a purple number or name (see <7> below) A slash "/" in the prompt is for multiple choice, for example "M/T:" shows you can either Mark or Type your input. .

ADDRESSING
CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
Basic Addressing: The "A:" prompt is for "Address" -- you can address a file or any item in a file, using the following optional elements, in this order:
CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
1. Optional filename followed by a comma
CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
2. Optional Name or Number (choose one)
CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
"Purple Number"
CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
- Location Numbers like 2c1 are hierarchical, change dynamically
CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
- Statement Identifiers or "SIDs" never change
CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
Name
CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
- Anchor names assigned by the author using html id= or name=
CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
- Names assigned by the system according to which "name delimiters" are in effect - for example if name delimiters are "(" and ")" then any statement beginning with a word in parens is addressible by that word. Use the Set Name (delimiters) command to control these settings, and Show Name (delimiters) to see what they are set to.

CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
3. Optional "Relative Addressing"
CE CE 2024-02-03 - 16:00 UTC
You can define a path for the system to follow without knowing the exact address, starting with a period "." followed by lowercase equivalents of any of the above Jump commands <02> -- Origin, Link, Up, Down, Next, Backward, etc. For example, jump to the section named Todo and in the Next statement follow the first link you find there - Jump Link todo.nl
